A large and very good quality late Georgian grate, from an 18th century design. The wrought iron bars topped with bulbous finials, above an intricately cut fret work with gadrooned edge. Matching larger bulbous finals surmount broke leg scrolled front supports. large square cast iron fireback. A very good quality piece in historic original condition. English circa 1810
