A Large late 18th Century English Wrought Iron Fire Grate
A large wrought iron fire basket/dog grate from the late 18th century George III period. Black lead polished, with C scrolled front supports, flanking a curved swans nest burning area of quite large proportions. Simple shaped bars, surmounted by large classical finials with flat plate panels returning to a large shaped cast iron fire back.
