An English Regency Antique Egyptian Revival Marble Fireplace

An antique English Regency period Egyptian revival chimneypiece in Italian Bardiglio and Statuary white marbles. The Jambs with finely carved Egyptian heads supporting a double reeded and rounded shelf. The frieze beneath with a centre tablet in high relief of an urn with entwined Asps. All supported on square foot bocks. Well drawn with good proportions Circa 1820
