An Antique English Regency Giltwood Mirror

A 19th century English Regency period Giltwood mirror. Having good size and proportions, the frame with outer twist ribbon design, inner design of crossed ribbon, with a generous ebonized slip surrounding the lightly foxed flat mirror plate. The pediment of a swooping eagle perched on an ebonized plinth flanked either side by scrolled acanthus. Subtle and lightly warmed patina great colour
