A sizeable ornate French Louis XVI style overmantel mirror. The top crested by a large floral foliate arch above a ribbon tied bow and quiver again with floral foliate swags to shoulders held by rosettes. The frame decorated with ribbon tied acanthus and the inner slip edged in lambs tongue moulding. Original plate glass mirror with light foxing and aged related marks as seen in images, which are a true reflection of condition. The back of the mirror boarded and panelled. A very good quality completely original early 19th century French mirror
