English Regency Statuary White Marble Fireplace

A large and well proportioned Regency fireplace in Statuary white marble. The panelled jambs with cushioned side returns stood on separate foot blocks and surmounted by carved foliate end blocks. The frieze with conforming panelled design, all beneath a generous reeded shelf. English Regency period circa 1820
