An Irish Early 19th Century Georgian Antique Columned Marble fireplace

A large and impressive antique Irish chimneypiece in wonderfully variegated Italian Bardiglio marble. The fully detached columns stood on square foot blocks with lozenge moulded corner block. The frieze with cushion moulded and fielded design. Sitting on a reeded under moulding which in turn caps the capitals and side returns. The inner slips inverted.
All beneath a wide and generous typically Irish moulded shelf.
