An English Regency Carrara Marble Antique Fireplace

An early 19th century english Regency period fireplace in “old English” Carrara marble. The jambs with cushion moulded panels, terminating in carved roundel ” Bulls Eye” corner blocks and stood on square foot blockings. The frieze again with the cushion moulding, beneath a simple shelf with shaped edge. Retaining its original elements with some repairs to the side returns. A compact yet in proportion fireplace. English circa 1830
