A smart early Victorian fireplace in Italian Bardiglio marble. The slim pilaster legs on square foot blockings, with plain end blocks and mouldings. The frieze with a plain and simple central plaque. All beneath a generous mantle. Although early Victorian somewhat Georgian in taste with the under moulding on the frieze and central plain tablet. Circa 1840
