A period 18th century Louis XVI fireplace executed in Italian Siena marble, with Statuary marble accents.

The tapering front panels with stop flutes in white marble, the conforming frieze again stop fluted and carved Statuary Patarae corner blocks.

Deep side returns with separate foot and corners, moulded returns.
All beneath a stepped and moulded shelf.

In very good condition for age with no breaks or smoke damage, completely stone backed
