A Pair Of Statuary White Marble English Regency Antique Fireplaces

A Regency period pair of Antique Statuary white marble chimneypieces.
Superior quality Italian Statuary marble, no discolouration very well carved corner blocks of flowers and foliage flank and stepped frieze. The jambs stood on separate foot blocks with raised moulded panels to front supported the carved separate corner blocks. All beneath slim and generous shelfs. Becoming increasingly difficult to find pairs of these English fireplaces of this period. Both in good order, restored very well, with any replacement pieces, wonderful milk white colour.
