A Louis XVI period Statuary and Breccia marble fireplace circa 1780-90. The simple jambs in White marble with inlaid Breccia, supporting the frieze with carved opposing cameo end blocks and carved centre flanked with conforming Breccia inlays. Both the end blocks and central carved scene of Diana the Huntress, Goddess of the hunt the wilderness and the moon.
