A Late 18th Century George III Irish Kilkenny Marble Fireplace
A large antique George III Irish Kilkenny Marble fireplace mantel. Very well drawn with good proportions and almost entirely black.
The jambs stood on shaped foot blockings with a rounded demi lune semi attached column to the front of the pilaster, surmounted by conforming corner blocks.
The frieze with a carved lozenge centre tablet flanked on either side by plain panels with an unusual bed moulding
