A Large Antique Louis XVI Carrara Marble Fireplace

A large Louis XVI style Carrara Marble fireplace dated from the mid 19th century. The console jambs with carved acanthus and tapering panels, with square Patarae corner blocks. The frieze with centre Patarae flanked by fielded panels. The side returns panelled again and retaining their orginal brass circular vents. All beneath a breakfront shelf. A good quality antique fireplace of this style circa 1850
