A Large Antique French Louis XV Style Italian Marble Fireplace

A large and very well carved Louis XV style fireplace in Italian Carrara Marble. The wide  deep serpentine shelf with Rococo frieze beneath of carved central cartouche of shell and acanthus leaf with C scrolls, fielded  panels either side.

The console leg jambs cantered with stiff acanthus above the scrolled mounted foot blocks. The fielded  front panels with descending bell drops and end blocks carved with  scrolled capped acanthus
