A Large Antique French Louis XV Marble Fireplace
A large Rococo Louis XV period fireplace in rich and highly variegated Rouge Griotte de Belgique marble. The cantered jambs having scrolled and stiff acanthus leaf carvings with shaped fielded panels. The serpentine frieze with a huge profuseley carved central cartouche and end blockings of scrolled acanthus in high relief.
