18th Century Georgian Onyx Fireplace Mantel
A large and imposing 18th century Georgian fireplace. The bulbous column jambs, stood on square foot blocks and socles, topped with capitals. In turn supporting large curved conforming bulbous end blocks which flank a plain frieze sitting on a moulded under lintel. The generous break front shelf being stepped, tiered and moulded. An impressive and rare piece of superior quality in onyx.
