Pair of Mid-Century Modern Chairs by Ernest Race

A pair of ” Woodpecker ” chairs designed by Ernest Race an English textile and furniture designer. He was made a Royal designer in 1953. The ” Woodpecker ” chair is made from Oak, Hardwood and Plywood. This particular pair have been re upholstered in a Boucle style fabric.
