Antique Thomas Elsley Fire Grate
A large brass and steel fire grate by renowned london manufacturer Thomas Elsley. The tall shaped fire back with brick fire inset stamped Elsley London. The brass fluted tapering front supports terminating in ball feet and capped by torch finials, with entwined serpents. Having a large burning area with polished steel bow fronted bars. Late 19th century.
