An English 19th Century Antique Rococo Fire Grate
An exceptional English Rococo style Griffin fire grate in rich Gun Metal and steel with shaped cast iron back. The superbly cast monopedia Griffins with ball and claw feet, spread wings and beaks as the front supports with Rococo style fret work of scrolls, foliate and central cartouche. The burning area with bowed balustrade front flanked by tapered acanthus supports. A quality 19th century English antique.
