Antique Regency Carved Statuary White Marble Fireplace Mantel
An early 19th century Regency period fireplace in Statuary white marble. The jambs with arabesque carved front panels, surmounted by carved urn end blocks. The carved frieze with a braided hair female mask to centre flanked either side by scrolled acanthus foliage. All beneath a simple shelf and supported on square foot blockings.
