Antique 19th Century Louis XVI Style Statuary Marble Fireplace Mantel

A large superior quality statuary white marble French fireplace surround in the Louis XVI style. The tapering console jambs with scaled carving within deep fluted mouldings, surmounted by square Patarae corner blocks. The beaded frieze having carved interlocking Guilloche with flowers, beneath a generous simply edged mantel (fireplace). Early 19th century, very high quality marble and carving. There are also included with this piece ( as shown in images) a set of decorative cast iron panels and a large white marble floor/hearth.
