An Early 19th Century Regency Marble Fireplace

A large Regency period fireplace from the Early 19th century in “Old English” pencil veined Carrara marble. The slim pilaster jambs supported on square foot blocks, surmounted by carved rosette corner blocks. A plain simple slim frieze between. A thick set of in grounds again in Carrara frame the opening. This surround is Welsh, originally from a Parish Rectory in Wales.
