A 19th century Statuary white and Sienna marble inlaid fireplace, in the Neoclassical manner. Finely executed carved panels to jambs depicting the arts, with classical figures playing instruments. There are also flutes, actors masks and pipes. The corner blocks of carved oval patarae and centre tablet again with classical figure surrounded by wheat and foliage flanked on either side by reeded panels. A breakfront tiered and molded shelf. Some later minor restorations. Provenance linking the surround to the composer the late Sir William Walton.
