Battersea town house installations

We recently had the pleasure of installing several of our pieces in this elegant Victorian town house in Battersea and, combined with our client’s existing decor, the result demonstrates how an eclectic mix of styles can be so effective.

In the living room, a Louis XVI style statuary white marble fireplace with fluted jambs, carved husks, and a frieze with carved Guilloche, is complemented by a Thomas Elsley grate with graceful Fleur de lis front legs.

A large, square, Italian brass and chrome table sits at the centre of the seating arrangement, and a large Italian brass sputnik chandelier with Murano glass accents hangs from the beautifully ornate ceiling rose.

The dining room is home to an early 19th century Italian fireplace in statuary white marble with delicate carvings of bow tied foliage in fielded panels on the jambs, and a central scene of carved putti playing instruments in the heavens.

The surround, along with the bookcases on either side and the art above, creates a harmonious centrepiece for this stylish but cosy space.
